Q: I KNOW YOU'VE PLAYED SOME PRETTY BIG PLACES IN YOUR CAREER, BUT WHAT WAS THE SMALLEST PLACE YOU EVER PLAYED?
A: (Byron) Oddly enough, the smallest place we ever played (outside of our garage), was a club in Los Angeles called Brenna's. It was so small, customers had to walk between drummer David and me to get to the bathroom....while we were playing!

Q: IS IT TRUE YOU RECORDED A SONG AT NEIL YOUNG'S HOME STUDIO IN TOPANGA CANYON IN L.A.? ISN'T THAT THE SAME STUDIO WHERE NEIL RECORDED THE 'AFTER THE GOLDRUSH' ALBUM?
A: Ok, let's get this story straight. We were living in L.A. in 1981 and a good friend/recording engineer from Tulsa, Gordon Shryock, was living in L.A. at the same time. One afternoon he invited us to go to a session he was engineering for Bernie Leadon(founder of The Eagles). Bernie had left the Eagles and was recording a solo album in his home studio. He had purchased the Topanga house and home studio from Neil Young and was living there and recording his solo album there. While we were there, Gordon and Bernie said they needed some hand claps on one part of the song they were working on and asked us to join in. So, yes, you could technically say we recorded there, but no, it was not for one of our sessions or songs. It was still lots of fun tho.
