A. I'M LEAVIN'
B. YOU SAY YOU LOVE HER
ROGER RODEN - drums, percussion
DENNIS TOTTY - vocals, guitars
BYRON TOTTY: bass guitar
Recorded In Tulsa At Derrick Records Studio
BILL DAVIS: Engineer
Mixed In Nashville by 'the' SCOTTY MOORE
The first record we ever recorded. The 45's came back from the record manufacturer with the labels on the wrong side. We were assured by the studio this happened a lot in the business and nothing to worry about. We were new at this and still pretty naive about the business, so we said 'Oh, Ok.' Some stories are floating around that we printed and put the labels on the records ourselves. Not true. The first radio station to ever play this record was KWGS-FM, the University of Tulsa radio station. They played classical music 90% of the time, but had a late night rock show on the weekend. The KWGS DJ who played our music for the very first time over radio air waves was Karl Suggs, who was also the lead singer in a local band called Sundog. Thank you again Karl. Hearing your music on the radio for the very first time is quite a thrill.
